Our Founder and Chief Artistic Director (Kathakali)
Dr. Ganesh Neelakanata Iyer has
conducted several workshops and performed at Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. He has performed
infront of many dignitaries including the then Singapore President
Our Co-Founder, and Chief Artistic Director (Music, Violin) Mrs Lakshmy Ganesh worked with Padmabhushan Dr L Subramaniam and performed violin along with Mr Ambi Subrahmaniam in NUS Arts Festival Singapore on songs composed by Dr L Subramaniam
We established Sabarish School of Arts and Music in Lingampally, Hyderabad We introduced the wonderful world of music and arts to several students in Hyderabad. We used to take regualr classes in Hyderabad and performed for several times in Sri Venkateswara Temple, BHEL. Kathakali has been performed for several times in many parts of Hyderabad. We have also conducted workshops on Katahakli at schools and other public venues.
A key year for our institution Our Founder and Chief Artistic Director Dr Ganesh Neelakanata Iyer has written a new Kathakali story (Aattakatha) on Sri Mookambika Mahathmyam and had its debut performance in his home town Thodupuzha
Our Founder and Chief Artistic Director Dr Ganesh Neelakanata Iyer along with senior artists from Kerala performed Sri Mookambika Mahathmyam at Kollur Mookambika, Karnataka
We have moved our institution to Coimbatore We have renamed our institution name to "Sabarish School of Performing Arts" Regular classes on Vocal, Violin and Kathakali are going on We are activley performing at different venues
